“On the Day of Judgment, the man who has memorized the Quran will come to where the Qur’an will say, ‘O Lord! Adorn him.’ Therefore, he will be adorned with the crown of Honor. Then the Qur’an will say, ‘O Lord! Increase hint (in adornment).’ Therefore, he will be clothed with the dress of Dignity. Again, the Qur’an will say, ‘O Lord! Be pleased with him Therefore, Allah will he pleased with him and it will be said to him, ‘Read (the Quran) and occupy higher degrees} Each ( Qur’anic ) verse, moreover will add a reward for him”

Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)

“Meet the people in such a manner that if you die, they should weep for you, and if you live, they should long for you.” – Ali Ibn Abi Talib

Prophet Muhammad(SAW)—-

Uqba ibn Amir RadiyAllahu `anhu  said: “Rasulullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam came to us while we were sitting on the Suffa and asked if anyone of us would like to go to the market of Buthan or Aqeeq and fetch from there 2 she camels of the finest breed without committing any sin or severing a tie of kinship. We replied that every one of us would love to do so. Rasulullah Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam then said that going to the Masjid and reciting or teaching 2 ayaat (verses) of the Qur’an is more precious than 2 she-camels, 3 ayaat are more precious than 3 she-camels, and that similarly reciting or teaching of 4 ayaat is better than 4 she-camels and an equal number of camels.” (Muslim, Abu Dawud)

10/20/14- Quote of the Day-  Abdullâh b. Mas’ûd – Allâh be pleased with him – said:

When a man amongst us learned ten verses [of the Quran], he would not move on [to the next verses] until he had understood their meanings and how to act by them.

10/25/14- The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “When the Companion of the Qur’an performs Salah, re-citing it by night and day, he retains it and if he doesn’t [use it in] Salah he forgets.”

11/1/14- The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “Do not argue using the Qur’an [i.e. in a dispute with one another]. [The negative result would be] you would deny the Book of Allah by using [one ayat] against another [ayat]. I swear by Allah indeed the Believer if he is argued against with the Qur’an he [out of respect] will loose [not continue the argument]…indeed the hypocrite, if he argues using the Qur’an, he will win [the argument because the Believer will not argue back]

11/27/14- The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “Learn [study] the Qur’an, and ask Allah [swt] to grant you Paradise by it, before when there comes people who learn it and ask by it, the worldy pleasures. Indeed, the Qur’an is learnt by three types of people:
– A man who shows off by it
– A man who eats by it [money, dunyah]
– A man who recites it for the sake of Allah [swt].”
